THE POWER OF ADVERSITY

BOOM! Life goes its merry way when suddenly – illness slams you into the hospital for 50 days, recovery will take months more.
A long hiatus fell on the website – serious illness was the reason, God, as in all things, led the way.
There was calamity within me, in my world, and in the world at large. The Year of the Horse gallops on unrelentingly.
Blessings to my Brothers (and Sister!) of Omnicyclion Africa who weathered the storm with me, in prayer and heart.
A few years back, God asked me to plant Black Elderberry bushes in my tiny garden. It forms beautiful berries that are so purple that they appear black, and this purple color is a potent medicine, not just for lung diseases, but also for people who need their body to strongly recover, such as athletes after a marathon run, or people recovering from illness and in old age, hence “elderberry”.
When I came home from the hospital, after 50 days away, the bush against my house had grown enormous and it was hanging full of enormous quantities of berries that will ripen in this month. God has plans for us, and for recovery from this illness, God had me plant these bushes 3 years ago.
Gods plans for us are planned well ahead. For the illness of 2026 He had me plant medicinal plants that made an enormous growth spurt exactly when I needed them most.
God works with all of us exactly this way, the solution is often close to the problem, and sometimes arrives ahead of the problem.
Posts will pick up again after the long hiatus, inform a friend.
Bless you all this August, and beyond. Thank you for sticking with Omnicyclion.org even in absence of new posts.
All is as the One who is All Things has planned, illness and hardship included.
Out of hardship comes strength, and out of suffering, if handled well, compassion.
God explains that everything consists of dualities with a spectrum between them and an outward connection to the anything and all, so dualities in a way, go not two but four ways. The two inward extremes of the duality, between which the spectrum or, sliding gradation, exists, is a balance between either extreme.
Because of this balance between opposite extremes, it is often so that bad times create good people, but also that too leisurely an existence tends to spoil the character in many.
You can see hardship as an investment in character and spirit.
Hardship can make people bitter and mean, but often calamity brings out the good in many people, such as community spirit after a devastating earthquake, hurricane or war.
We pay in blood, we pay in pain, but the rewards stack up in the hereafter.
God teaches in Omnicyclianism and several other traditions that for the earthly hardships endured or inflicted there will be compensation in the hereafter. Everything balances out in our ascent to Godhood. We are that One, never forget, we are temporary but recurring parts of the Whole to which we shall return. We Are Safe!
God promised me it will be quite a while before I will be this ill again. May the August sun bring abundant Elderberries.
The wonderful children of FATA Foundation, Uganda, have been praying through this hardship for me, to God/Allah, the One in the faiths they adhere to. They are much in need of assistance, as are those of One Home Mission Foundation and Hands of Hope Charity Ministry . Consider a donation to them, these 100+ children need your helping hand. OHMF can accept donations via their website, but all three or any one of them will receive donations if you Donate to them through Omnicyclion.org.
